Although late into photography it has become a passion over the last three years and having studied on several Photography courses 90% of success is still turning up !

In May 2008 a lucky shot attracted world wide interest in " The Smiling Bee " - a world's first and whilst initially being sent to a friend at the local paper to make him smile it took not only the country by storm but ended up on a world tour ! Having been featured on the BBC Breakfast Programme and then on the BBC ONE Show the Smiling Bee featured in most of the National Newspapers and then went onto "bee" seen in the Bangkok Post, The Melbourne Post and The Florida Sun and covered the first seven or eight pages of all the major search engines online.

As a result it was time to turn Pro and since June 2008 I have worked mainly for Cornwall and Devon Media which handle the Cornish Guardian, West Briton, Western Morning News and Cornishman to name but a few.  Each week sees from 10 up to 30 images published each week. More recently I undertake submissions to the North Cornwall and Mid Cornwall Advertiser's together with the Sunday Independent and sometimes the Newquay Voice.

Having been an IT Specialist for many years I have worked with many companies and continue to do so whilst doing the day job, I own and run a Computer Company in Newquay along with my wife Karen, who now also has the Photography bug and is establishing herself within the Photo Journalist world.  It is due to these contacts that i am fortunate to get involved with Photography work for the likes of Ripcurl, Fat Face, Quicksilver amongst others.
